Creepy Crawlers — Brock Chart
Creepy Crawlers is a fun, spooky-themed piece for late elementary students—perfect for Halloween recitals! Just like the title suggests, the melody creeps up and down the keyboard and features the classic “creepy” sounds students love: chromatic lines, dynamic contrasts, and sneaky shifts in register—all written at a comfortable level.
Halloween is one of my favorite times of year, and I had a blast writing this one! My studio is even hosting a Silent Film Recital this October featuring the 1931 Frankenstein film—and you can bet one of my students will be performing Creepy Crawlers that night!
