Publish with My-Melodies

We help composers get their music into the hands of real teachers and students—beautifully engraved, thoughtfully edited, and supported with modern, student-friendly resources.

Teacher-first publishing

We think like piano teachers: clear patterns, smart pedagogy, and music students actually want to play.

Modern digital experience

Audio tracks, QR code resources, and clean Shopify delivery—built to be friction-free for families.

A real community

Our audience is active teachers. We help your music reach people who are looking for fresh repertoire.

Who we publish

We’re a good fit for composers writing student-centered piano music—especially contemporary styles (jazz, pop, blues, cinematic, holiday, etc.) that are playable, pattern-based, and fun.

Great for

  • Original solo piano pieces (elementary → advanced)
  • Teacher/student & student/student duets
  • Ensembles & flexible parts
  • Holiday / seasonal collections

Not ideal for

  • Unlicensed arrangements of copyrighted tunes
  • Incomplete drafts or unedited manuscripts
  • Music that requires specialized instrumentation without parts

FAQ

Do you accept previously self-published pieces?

Often, yes—if the piece is a strong catalog fit and rights are clear. We’ll discuss what needs updating (layout, engraving, audio, etc.).

Do I keep my copyright?

Publishing terms vary by project. We’ll outline rights, licensing, and revenue share clearly before anything moves forward.

What files do you need?

At minimum: PDF of the score + a short description. If you have audio (mockup or live), include it—it helps the review.

How long does the process take?

It depends on scope (single, set, or book) and your starting materials. We’ll give you an expected timeline once we review.

Can you publish duets / ensembles?

Yes—especially if parts are clear and the pedagogy is strong. We love teacher/student duets and flexible ensembles.
