Piano 1 has the simplest part and stays mostly in one position, while Pianos 2–4 build slightly in activity but are still very pattern-driven and rely on shapes students can memorize fast. Because so much of it can be taught by rote, students get to focus on the groove and the sound rather than note-by-note reading.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eA fun bonus in this piece is the optional student-played drum part — one performer can switch their keyboard to a drum kit and hold down the beat, giving everyone a chance to explore new sounds and making it feel like a real band.
